Electric stoves. - A chamber A containing heating elements C and having a contracted outlet A' connected to a conduit H surrounded on three sides by a jacket D connected to a conduit I surrounding the conduit H on three sides. The jacket and casing intercommunicate below' the heating elements. The conduits H, I form supply-return pipes for the rooms to be heated and are provided with openings J, K the openings J being controlled by valves J<1>. A pan G mounted in the outlet A<1> is revolved by the uprising air and assists in promoting circulation. The heater A, D is situated in the basement of the conduits H, I run under the lower flooring. In a modification for a multiple-story building the conduits are arranged vertically, the opening J, K being at floor level.
