Abstract

366,770. Radiators for heating and cooling buildings. BARRETT, J. and WRIGHT, R. F., 19, Bartholomew Close, London. March 16, 1931, No. 8023. [Class 64 (ii).] A plate 1, preferably of metal, is curved or bent to form the cornice of a room, and is provided with passages 2 secured to or integral with it, for a hot or cold circulating fluid or for the reception of electric heaters. Ribs 4 are provided at the edges of the plate to assist in securing it in the plaster of the ceiling and wall, and an angle member 5 with projections 6 may form an additional securing means. The device may be made as a complete cornice or in sections, which may be separated by plates of similar shape but without heating or cooling means, and it may be adapted to any other angular space in a room.
