Solidifying and then removing films. - Icecream or other semi-liquid foodstuff to be frozen on the exterior of a rotating freezing-drum D is removed by a scraper F that is adjustably secured to a bracket E adjustably secured to the flanged rim A<1> of a collecting or discharge hopper A. The under surface of the horizontal portion of the bracket E deflects the ice-cream &c. into the hopper.
