Abstract

202,564. Inshaw, J. G. Nov. 16, 1922. Rolling.-In a live-roller conveyer used for conveying tubes away from rolling or pilgering apparatus, the axis b of each roller B is supported by the arms c<2> of a pair of bell-crank levers c which are pivoted in bearings a' on the trough or support A and coupled by a rod C. Transverse shafts e<2> are driven through bevel gears by a motor driven shaft D and carry gears e meshing with gears f on the shaft of the rollers. The rollers project through apertures in the trough and can be raised or lowered by moving the rod C.
