Abstract
303,140. Siemens & Halske Akt.-Ges. Dec. 30, 1927, [Convention date]. Developing apparatus. - In a developing apparatus for an automatic photographic machine, and of the kind in which the photographs are fed through the bath by conveyer rollers, the rollers are positively driven by gear wheels &c. made from chemically resistant material such as hard rubber. The upper rollers 1, 2, 5 are mounted between plates 7, 7<1> immersed in the bath 31 and are connected by gearing 8, 9, 10. The roller shafts are also provided with pulleys 32, 33, 34 and 32', 33', 34' surrounded by endless rubber belts 15 which urge the rollers together. The rollers 1, 5 are provided with rubber rings 16 - - 19 to grip the photographic paper. The lower rollers 37 - - 39 are driven at the same speed as the upper rollers by gearing 33 - - 36, Fig. 4.
