Abstract

1293895 Photographic processing apparatus K NISHIMOTO 26 Jan 1970 [30 Jan 1969] 3719/70 Heading G2A An automatic developing machine has a plurality of treatment tanks 11 and a printing paper or film strip conveying apparatus in each tank consisting of a pair of upper sprockets 12 at the top of or above each tank and a pair of lower sprockets 13 within and at the bottom of each tank, a plurality of endless chains 16 each engaging with a respective upper and lower sprocket and having means 17 for carrying printing paper or film strips through the respective tank, and means 24 capable of transferring the printing paper or film strips between chains in adjacent tanks. Each chain has means 17 in the form of spaced projections which in association with guide plates 20, 21 retain handing rods 18 for the printing paper or film strip. The transferring means consist of a wheel 23 have spaced projections 24 of the same pitch as projections 17.
