Abstract

255,789. Dausmann, C. F. Aug. 5, 1925. Transferring designs.-In apparatus for developing or treating printing-rollers upon which transfer sheets have been attached, for example as described in Specification 255,648, the roller C is mounted for transferring the sheets by a shaft S on spaced rollers 12 at one end of two rail supports constituted by two pairs of spaced castings 11 and two rigid connecting bars 10. The castings are adjustably spaced along channelled rails 8, for rollers of different sizes, by screw shafts 14 each having right and left handed threads. These shafts are interconnected by the shaft 17 and operated from the handle 15. After the sheets have been secured to the roller C the latter is rolled along the rails 11, 10 to another set of rollers 12<1> for development and treatment. The trough 44 with a drain pipe is mounted on brackets 45, and a pan 47 or container for the developing and sizing liquid is fitted so that the lower portion of the roller C will dip therein.
