Pulverulentfuel furnaces. -In a furnace of the kind described in S p e c ification 164,301, the opening or openings 5, Fig. 1, which permit the discharge of molten ash from the combustion chamber 4 to the receptacle 6 are provided with inclined side walls to facilitate the discharge of the molten ash, A door 8 is provided for the insertion of a tool for stirring purposes. The discharge opening 5 may be arranged in one of the walls of the sloping bottom of the combustion chamber 4, as shown in Fig. 3.
