Abstract
216,102. Soc. E. Chaboche et Cie. May 19, 1923, [Convention date]. Closed solid-fuel stoves comprise a flue plate A at the back of the grate carrying at each side a flue-box or casing F formed with openings G, H, through which the smoke passes to a rear flue formed between the plate A and the back plate C. In the construction shown, the plate A is secured in the joint between the front and back castings B, C of the stove body, cement being used to render the joints tight. The openings G are formed in the front corners of the flue boxes F, which may be integral with or attached to the plate A. The boxes F may be replaced by partitions extending forwardly to within a short distance of the front plate and thus leaving openings corresponding in function to the openings G.
