Abstract

141,056. Lambot, J. April 3, 1919, [Convention date]. Grates; ash-pans.-A rotary grate 1 for a gasproducer or furnace is provided with projections 2 which serve to agitate the fuel bed and break up clinker. The grate is supported on the rotary ash-pan 8 which is mounted on rollers 13. Ashes are removed by a scraper (not shown), attached to the wall 5. Air or steam supplied to the grate through the hollow shaft 9 is delivered to the fuel bed through apertures 3 arranged in the rear walls of the projections 2.
