Abstract
200,490. Soc. des Etablissements Gaumont. July 5, 1922, [Convention date]. Addition to 193,339. Magnetic instruments.-A diaphragm arranged in an annular gap between conical pole-pieces and containing spirals of wire through which the received currents pass, is stretched over supports a of triangular crosssection on the lower pole-piece b. These supports are rings coaxial with the pole-piece. The diaphragm is mounted on a metal ring c which screws on the pole-piece and is secured in position by a stoppiece d pressed against it. The first few turns of the wires of the diaphragm are stripped of insulation and connected together by binding elements of copper wire connected by flexible conductors to the telephone circuit.
