Abstract

Frames.-In cycles of the type in which one of the frame tubes acts as the cylinder of the tyre inflator, the handle K of the piston-rod B is made detachable, as by means of a bayonet fastening P, and is adapted to be accommodated within one end of the handle-bar when not in use. The flexible tube E is then placed within the hollow piston-rod B. The piston-rod B passes through packing and an aperture in the upper end of the saddle stem O, and when in use projects through an opening S in the saddle.
