Abstract

240,300. Triumph Cycle Co., Ltd., and Phillips, J. A. Oct. 8, 1924. Foot-rests for motor-cycles are formed of two tubular members 2, 3, each pierced with a hole 4 and provided with a flattened bent-up ear 5 for attachment to one of the frame members 11 by a bolt 10, the tubular members 2, 3 being mounted on a common stiffening-rod 9 passing through the holes 4. A tubular distance-piece 12 may be mounted on the bolt 10. The tubes 2, 3 are flattened at 7 beyond the ends of the rod 9 and slightly flared at the ends 8, and rubber &c. treads 13 are passed on to the flattened parts.
