Abstract
432,730. Fluid-pressure horns; fluid supply. HINDERMAYR, J., Berg, Donauworth, Germany. Feb. 5, 1934, No. 3805. Convention date, Feb. 3, 1933. [Class 13] To equalize the gas pressure supplied to exhaust-operated warning devices 4-7 a space 13 is left between the cap 12 which is applied to the extension 2 of the exhaust-pipe 3 to operate the devices and the points of attachment of the latter. The tubes 4-7 may be attached resiliently to the pipe 2 and face in a direction opposite to that taken by the normal flow of the exhaust gases. The extension 2 may be welded or screwed to the exhaust-pipe 3 and the cap 12 is operated through a lever 10 by a Bowden wire 8. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a modification in which the nozzles of the warning devices project into the tube 2 towards the cap 12. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
