Abstract

Track-apparatus actuating signals on trains and for stopping trains.-A lever A, carried by the spindle of a valve which applies the brakes and cuts off steam is engaged by a track contact H comprising a counterweighted arm raised with the semaphore when the latter is in the danger position. A switch may be operated when the lever is used' on electric trains. An extension A<1> of the lever works in a ratcheted guide G and is reset by the driver.
