Abstract

146,690. Staddon, W. May 28, 1919. Track apparatus actuating signals other than on trains.-The passage of the last vehicle of a train past a given point is indicated in the cabin by a bell or other signal mechanically connected to a pivoted lever d on the track, which is counterweighted so as to return to the vertical position after operation. The lever d is struck by a projection c<1> on a lever c carried by the last vehicle in operative position as shown in full lines on the drawing. The lever c may be moved to an inoperative position by flexible connexions.
