204,419. Farmer, G. A., Coussmaker, L. J., and Campbell, E. A. July 5, 1922. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Track apparatus actuating signals other than on trains.-For indicating the approach of trains in a signal-cabin, pairs of ramps f, i are placed between corresponding insulated track rail sections a, g, at the home and distant signals. The ramps of each pair are connected together and to a lamp or bell so as to distinguish the indications. A common battery feeds circuits by wires connected to the insulated track rail-sections so that indications are given when a train bridges the sections and ramps. Lever-controlled train contacts of the type described in Specification 181,871 are used but are not insulated from the train.
