Abstract

196,066. Holmwood, E. L. Jan. 12, 1922. Wire and like hinges for gates, doors, box lids, &c., are formed of a length of wire or rod bent into loops 2, attachment ends 3 and a middle portion 2<b>, and a length of wire which passes through the loops to form attachment legs 5 and a middle portion 5<b>. The hinge parts are secured in position by driving the sharp ends of the leg members into the wood, and by staples 9, 10 engaging with the leg and middle loop members.
