193,764. Golby, E. H. May 30, 1922. Stays.-French and other double or paired casement windows may be held in a set-open position by means of a wooden stay C, laid horizontally over the upper edges of the windows which take into grooves A formed on the lower surface of the stay and lined with soft material. When out of use, the stay may be folded about a central hinge E and may be hung up by the provision of a metal eye B fixed to one of the parts of the stay at the joint. Stays oi different dimensions are used for different degrees of opening.
