Abstract
194,355. Katsumori, K. Nov. 12, 1921. Alloys.-In a centrifugal process for preparing porous metals, alloys of nickel and magnesium or nickel, magnesium and cobalt are used. In an example an alloy consisting of 97 per cent of nickel and 3 per cent of magnesium is used, an alloy consisting of 89 per cent of nickel and 11 per cent of magnesium being removed in the centrifugal separator. In another example an alloy is used consisting of 97 per cent of nickel, 2.8 per cent of magnesium and 0.2 per cent of cobalt.
