Abstract

Couplings.-Connectors for the cores of concentric cables of the type described in Specification 2492/02 are formed of copper rod or stout wire of round section. U-shaped sockets are formed at the ends of the connectors which, for a through joint, may extend straight between these sockets or, for a tee joint, may be formed with an intermediate socket at right-angles to the end sockets. The conductivity of the coupling may be increased by joining the ends of the rod by a sleeve. The wires of the core are wrapped round and soldered to the U-shaped sockets.
