Abstract

297,986. Roper, B. H. Oct. 13, 1927. Plug couplings.-The pin is formed of two arms a pivoted together at a' and having a helical &c. spring c that separates the arms causing the semi-cylindrical portions a<2> to be displaced to grip the socket. A wire f is connected by a groove e' and a notch d or aperture e to one or both arms, the joint being covered by an insulating cap b. A binding-screw or ordinary plug coupling may be used for connecting the wire.
