Abstract

Terminals for batteries &c. comprise a nut a screwing on a stem f and enclosed wholly y or partially by an acidresisting insulating covering c between which and the nut a groove b is formed to receive grease, the connection to the terminal being made by a plug g that enters a socket e in the nut a. The groove b may be formed either in the nut a or in the covering c. The socket e may pass through the covering c which is then recessed at e<1> to receive the end of a bushing g' on the plug g. Specification 231,280 is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
