Abstract
191,612. Saunders, S. E. Jan. 12, 1922. Hydroplane vessels.- In hulls for flying-boats and motor launches provided with longitudinal channels extending from bow to stern for the purpcse of collecting and entrapping the bow wave, the channel is made rectangular in cross-section with upright sides e and horizontal top, the lower edges of the sides of the channel being connected to the sides of the hull by a surface g at an acute angle to the sides and rising towards the centre of the hull. The surface f is formed with two or more steps.
