Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and pneumatic cushions.-In wheels of the kind in which a floating rim carrying internally a pneumatic cushion freely surrounds the wheel proper, the outer rim is built up of light metal channel rings 2 riveted to a flat metal band 3 The rubber tread 1 is vulcanized to the rings. The edges of the cover have embedded wedgeshaped rings 7 and are clamped against the sides of a seat 5 by ring plates 9 and bolts passing through the rings 2.
