Motors, cooling and ventilating.-In a totally enclosed electric motor in which airis passed through ducts 5 associated with the casing, part 8 of the casing is adapted to rotate and carries on its exterior surface fan blades 10, which force air through the casing ducts 5. Fan blades 11 are also provided on the interior of the rotating part 8 of the casing, for creating a circulation of air within the the motor. A baffle-plate 12, in the form of a cylinder through which the pole-pieces project, directs the circulation of the air.
