Magneto-electric machines.-A permanent magnet A is rotated on a shaft B about its longitudinal axis with its poles N, S within the curved polar faces of a stationary armature C, which has primary and secondary windings E on one or more limbs. The armature C may be rocked for timing. In the case of multipolar machines, like poles of the permanent magnets may be joined by U-shaped iron pieces.
