11,165. Williams, A. B. Aug. 3. Rollers.-In a rubber or like tyre, stated to be applicable to rollers, a metal band b, which is embedded near the base of the tyre a, is formed with perforations b<1> so as to increase the adhesion. For properly spacing the band during moulding, studs c may be fitted at intervals. The tyre may be secured on the wheel or other rim by radial bolts screwed into holes or nuts in or on the band. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 23,427/03, [Class 144, Wheels &c.], and 21,891/12, and 2558/13, [Class 144 (ii), Wheel tyres, Pneumatic &c.].
