Abstract

9287. Oesterreichische Daimler-Motoren Akt.-Ges. July 14, [Convention date]. Securing propellers on shafts.-In securing propellers on aircraft-engine shafts &c., a bush 3 is secured on the shaft 1 by a key 4 and a nut 5 secured by a screw 17, and the sleeve 6 of the propeller hub has teeth 10 engaging similar teeth on the bush, and conical and cylindrical centring- surfaces 11, 12, the whole being secured in position by a nut 13 screwing on the bush end. Flanges 7, 7<1>, one sliding on teeth on the sleeve 6, are connected by bolts 9 for securing the propeller hub in position on its sleeve. A plate 14 locks the nut 13.
