Abstract

7636. Mills, W. Feb. 10. Barrels.-A rifle is provided at the muzzle with a ring or socket for the reception of a hand grenade of the kind having a controlling-lever h at the side, the lever being retained in position by the ring or socket until the grenade is projected. The grenade is projected by a tail-rod screwing into a socket p at the base of the. grenade and adapted to be inserted into the barrel.
