Abstract

5386. Canhac, G. E. April 10, 1914, [Convention date]. Water-tube boilers.- In steam generators of the kind in which Belleville elements are connected to vertically arranged headers each divided longitudinally so that the two parts communicate with the steam and water space respectively of the upper drum, the parts of the headers are placed in direct communication with each other and with a water drum at their lower end. The vertical divided headers communicate at 10, 11 with the drum 1 and the separate chambers 3, 4 communicate with each other at their lower ends and are connected to a supply collector 7 which receives water from the upper drum 1 through the return pipe 8 and mud collector 9.
