Sliding bolts.-A casement, door, or gate fastener comprises a casing a in which is mounted a sliding bolt B, actuated by means of a worm D on the buss of a handle C pivoted in the casing a. The nose of the bolt B is bevelled to ensure tightness. The bolt B may be locked by inserting a pin G into registering holes in the bolt and casing, and may be operated from outside by an extension passing through the door &c.
