Abstract
2823. Sparks, E. Feb. 22. Atmospheric gas burners.-In that type of lighting or heating burner in which additional gas supplied through a by-pass tube is admitted to the burner between the mixing - chamber and the burner head, the additional gas supply is capable of being regulated, and may be used to feed a pilot jet when the main supply is cut off. In one form, the additional gas is supplied through a tube A, Fig. 1, and the burner mouth and the mixing-tube are telescopic and are adjustably connected by a pin D and a slot E. The Provisional Specification also states that more than one additional gas supply may be employed.
