Abstract

112,891. Yates, H. J. June 13, 1917. Atmospheric gas burners.-A burner head of the rose nozzle type is combined with a similar auxiliary .burner head supplied with gaseous mixture through a central passage in the main burner head. The Figure shows a form in which the main and auxiliary mixing-tubes a, b are combined. The outlet orifices e of the main burner head are formed by notches or projections on a disk d, or on the edge of the burner head, or both. The auxiliary mixing-tube b communicates through a hollow depending stem f on the disk d with a similar ring of outlet orifices arranged between the disk d and a second disk h above it.
