Abstract

15,960. Morcom, R. K. July 3. Enamelling.-In coating surfaces with fusible materials by spraying, the surface is preliminarily heated by one or more separate leading jets a, and the deposit may be heated by a following jet c for the purpose of effecting annealing. The jets, together with the spraying blow-pipe b, are clamped to a cross bar d and are supplied with a combustible mixture from a union u ; a flux or powdered reducing-agent may be used in connection with the leading jet.
