12,045. Samuel, A. May 15. Coating.-In a process for coating iron with lead, the iron is coated with linseed oil and a mixture of lead oxide and powdered aluminium, a blowpipe flame being then passed over the coated surface, whereupon the lead oxide is reduced to metallic lead.
