Combinations of interdependent valves. - A piston valve D moves across the air passage M of a carburettor and is surrounded by a sleeve K, which has ports K<1>, K<2> and may he rotated by a handle L to vary the passage, which is controlled by the piston D. In a modification, the sleeve may be cut away, leaving only a segment, which may control on only one side of the piston.
