Jan. 24, 1913, [Convention date] Balance or differential gearing; transmission gear of invariable ratio.-Balance gearing for motorvehicles is driven by a number of parallel worms 7, 10, 11, which are connected by toothed gearing 9, 13, 12 and mesh with their respective wormwheels 14, 15, 16. Power is imparted to the middle worm 7. The worm-wheels 14, 15, 16 are rigidly connected by bolts 20, and the middle wheel 14 forms a'casing for the balance gearing 23, 22, 24, 25, which drives the part-axles 4, 5.
