Lids and covers.-Means for opening boxes consist of a resilient lever curved to conform with the shape of the body and pivoted by a pin 6, so that the lever bears resiliently against the pin and the body and is kept normally in place. A finger-piece 5 and a cranked end 4 are provided. A slot 7 may also be provided in the lever, so that, when the lever has assumed a vertical position, it can be pushed up to raise the lid.
