26,914. Bickford, S. M. Nov. 22. Tread bands.-Transverse chains 4 are secured on a tyre by passing their ends' over enlargements 7 on pins 1 fixed to the inside of the felloes. The bases of the pins, which may be screwed to the felloes, have flanges 9, between which the ends of the chains lie. The enlargements 7 are circumferential.
