19,069. Krupp Akt.-Ges., F. Oct. 5, 1912, [Convention date]. Projectiles. - Relates to projectiles containing illuminating - charges fitted with parachutes and fired in flight by a time-fuse, and consists in arranging the bursting-charge in the middle of the shell between two illuminating - charges, and in the use of perforated baffle-plates to protect the illuminating- charges from damage by the explosion of the bursting - charge. As shown in Fig. 1, the illuminating - charges C fitted with parachutes D face a central bursting- charge G and are protected by perforated baffle - plates K. The charges are held in place by casings and distancepieces B, B, L, M, and the central charge is fired from the time-fuse J by a fuse tube H, and fires the ignition rings c<1> of the illuminating- charges.
