Abstract
126,325. Soc. Anon. pour l'Exploitation des ProcÚdÚs Westinghouse-Leblanc. Aug. 21, 1916, [Convention date]. Pyrotechnic apparatus.-Consists in making the nozzles of war rockets expansible automatically under the gaseous pressure, in order to obtain low pressures and slow combustion from colloidal propulsive compositions such as ballistite. In the war rocket-shown, the nozzle N is annular around a front chamber M supplied with gases from a chamber I containing the propulsive composition, which is ignited through the intermediary of black powder by a fuse J when the rocket is discharged from a gun. The bursting charge is contained in a rear chamber G and is fired by a base fuse H.
