Clamping-devices for socket fixings.-A device for enabling the handle to be readily secured in and removed from the hole of a brush comprises a loop b embracing the inserted end of the handle a and projecting through perforations in the brush stock, the end of one leg being secured to the stock, such as by bending it over against the edge thereof, and the other leg being prolonged and threaded to receive a nut c by which a serrated part of the loop is drawn against the handle. In the case of brushes with a covering-board, the loop is located between the stock and covering-board, thus obviating the necessity for boring perforations to receive the legs of the loop.
