8872. Leistler, A. April 16, 1912, [Convention date]. Night-latches.-A two-stroke bolt 3, for a door, roller-shutter, or the like is held withdrawn until the door &c. is closed bv tumblers 8 engaging a stump 11 on the bolt. The releasing-device consists of a spring-controlled lever 13, a pin 16 on which contacts with a pin 18 on the door &c. frame, and which has pivoted thereto a three-armed lever 21. The shoulder 22, when the levers 13, 21 are raised, lifts the tumbler 8 and holds it up, until the bolt, shot forward by the spring 27, has almost reached the end of its stroke, whereupon a projection 28 contacts with the lever 21 and moves aside the shoulder 22.
