Detaching from, and attaching to, permanent hubs.-A collar d, having a threaded engagement with the detachable hub c and rotatable on a hollow extension b of the permanent hub a, is locked by wedges h forced outwards from the extension b by a conical bolt f. The nut c, for retaining the collar d, and the bolt end g are threaded in opposite directions, and are mutually locked by the meshing of teeth n, k respectively on the nut and on a spring-actuated cap l slidable, but not rotatable, on the bolt f.
