Overhead incandescent lanzps.-The reflector is divided into two parts g, h respectively inside and outside the globe m, and the globe is held on separate supports l projecting from a ring k supported by the reflector h so that a passage is formed between the globe and the ring k through which the whole of the air supply passes from the outside of the lamp, part of the air passing above the reflector g to the inlets p of the mixing-tube a, while the remainder of the air passes downwards into the globe. The lamp is built on the casting a, which is supported by the gas-supply pipe, the outer spinning f of the casing being bolted to brackets e projecting from the inner spinnings b. The reflector h is preferably hinged to the spinning f, and the reflector g is supported by springs s fixed to the casting a and by a spring t hinged thereto and provided with a screw by which it can be adjusted to insert the reflector.
