2071. Denonne, A. Jan. 25. Cooking-stoves; closed solid-fuel stoves; grates; ovens.-A continuous-burning cooking-stove, particularly adapted for anthracite, has a cylindrical fuel-receptacle 1, the lower end of which consists of a fixed semicircular plate 4 and a similar movable plate 3, which may be moved horizontally so as to dump the cinders &c. At the front of the stove is an air-intake 2, through which a trident or the like may be thrust to support the fuel when the cinders are being damped. The stove has also a vertical grate 9, the opening adjacent to which is closable alternatively by a door 10 or by drawing up an oven 12 mounted beneath a flue 7 on rails 14. For slow combustion, the air-intake 2 is closed. The grate 9 may be replaced by a plate which becomes incandescent.
