The oven is heated by a lamp or burner beneath the aperture k, and the combustion products pass through the flue l to the top flue c of the oven, and thence to the side and bottom flues f, e. A V-shaped deflector s in the flue e conducts the gases to the outlets g. In a modification, the wall m is enclosed by a rectangular outer casing r, and has ends n at right-angles to the walls of the stove. The casings r may be packed.
