Combined open fire-places and cooking-stoves. -An oven-heating chamber, above the canopy, is divided by a vertical central partition 2 into two compartments, in each of which is placed one or more ovens 4. The combustion products from the open fire-grate 8 are led through side flues 7, formed with expansions 14 such as those described in Specification 506/00, to heat the ovens 4. The oven flues are connected to the chimney by short pipes 13, regulating-dampers being fitted at the joints 11.
