22,838. Akt.-Ges. f³r Anilin Fabrikation. Nov. 29, 1911, [Convention date]. Samples furnished. Azo dyes, forming on the material.-Orange to red shades are obtained by diazotizing on the fibre and developing, say with #-naphthol, the primary disazo dyes produced by treating with a nitrobenzoyl halide, such as 3- or 4-nitrobenzoyl chloride, the primary disazo dyes from two molecules of a diazo-sulphonic acid of the benzene series and 3 : 3<1>-diaminodiphenylurea or a homologue thereof, and reducing the nitro groups in the product. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a), refers also to the use of nitroarylcarboxylic halides in general and diazo compounds of the benzene or naphthalene series in general; this subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
